About BreathEasy Slow Breathing With Music

David O'Hara: developed the BreathEasy SystemMy name is David O´Hara. I created the Breatheasy System and founded The Low Pressure Zone in late 2005/early 2006 after several years of development and testing my own system combined with music.

I did not invent slow breathing. The breathing method I use is for Breatheasy is well established and clinically proven. But after learning slow breathing on my own by using it along with relaxing music I knew that my method was much easier, more enjoyable and more affordable than the commercial products available until now.

My story:

I was totally shocked when I discovered in my mid-40s that I had high blood pressure. I had always been fit and active with a totally laid-back personality. I was no saint but you could say I had a fairly healthy lifestyle.

Naturally, my doctor wanted to put me on medication immediately but I resisted. I'm not at all anti-medicine and I'm happy for the lucky people that find a solution to their hypertension in drugs. But I've seen first hand the ordeal it can be to find the right drug and dosage for hypertension. I also know that every drug has side effects. I was determined to find an alternative!

The natural treadmill

Like many people, the first thing I did was get on the net to look for natural cures. There sure are a lot out there! I tried just about all of them and nothing ever worked. Most natural "remedies" are fads, fueled by the Internet (probably fueled by profits too. Have you seen the price of some of that stuff?).

A few people always seem to get sensational results with something and rave about it.  But the rest of us are disappointed time and time again. I ended up feeling like treating high blood pressure with "remedies" is little better than taking shots in the dark.

Struck out with lifestyle too...

Despite everything, my blood pressure just kept creeping up. So even though I was already in pretty decent shape I buffed up my lifestyle to the max and followed every recommendation. It had no effect. Apparently, my hypertension was not lifestyle related and I know now that a lot of people have similar experience.

Of course, the first thing you should look at when you have high blood pressure is lifestyle. For many people just making some healthy changes will solve the problem. On the other hand, lifestyle modifications take a lot of time, patience and, even then, results are unpredictable.

At last, a real alternative!

I was getting desperate and it was starting to look like drugs would be my only option after all. Then one morning I was watching one of those TV talk shows and I saw an amazing report on a new, natural method to lower blood pressure using breathing. The guest doctor called it a real breakthrough in natural blood pressure treatment.

I'm a natural skeptic but something about this method struck a chord in me. I had used breathing for relaxation and other purposes and I knew how powerful it is. I just didn't know that it could actually produce lasting drops in blood pressure. I was also surprised at how easy it was - only 15 minutes a day - and with none of the complications of yoga and meditation, which I must confess I lack the patience for.

So it was back to the net where I learned everything possible about this new method and began experimenting with it. I soon learned that the boredom or distraction from counting or following any sort of timing device killed the whole process. After a while I was able to internalize the right breathing pattern and use it while relaxing to gentle music.

Slow breathing: a genuine breakthrough

This finally developed into a pleasant and regular routine and the rest is history. The results were simply amazing!

Once I had my technique down I experienced immediate drops in my blood pressure, although at first the effect lasted only a short time. But I knew something was up due to a growing sense of relaxation and peace of mind.

The feeling was justified because the reductions started lasting progressively longer with each passing day. Within about two weeks at least some of the reduction was lasting all day.

In seven weeks most of my readings were down below the "official" borderline of 140/90, around the clock, and they continued falling. Occassional spikes do still happen but for all intents and purposes my hypertension is cured!

Just breathe easy...

I feel a little like the Remington shaver guy who was so impressed with the product that he bought the company! I was so impressed with slow breathing and my own innovation that I knew it could help others too and I created the Breatheasy System.

I´m very pleased to say that after almost three years in commercial production and many many happy customers my confidence is entirely justified! We have just released our third major upgrade with many new improvements that make Breatheasy even easier and more enjoyable to use.

Of course no treatment is 100% effective (if someone tells you so run in the opposite direction!). The vast majority will get many important benefits using Breatheasy. The number who do not is so small that I'm able to offer a six-month unconditional guarantee.

So why not give Breatheasy a try!
